When you make a booking with me I will endeavour to conduct consultations in a safe and ethical manner; to prioritise informed consent; abide by my privacy policy and practice within the scope of my qualifications and make all reasonable efforts to meet a high standard of best practice.

Your responsibilities

To allow me to deliver these services safely and effectively, I expect you to provide me with accurate information about your health, including any conditions or history I need to be aware of, and any medications or supplements you are taking. You should not cease any current medication prescribed by your medical practitioner.

Any person using this website must be 18 years of age or be supervised by a legal guardian or parent.

Important Information

Before choosing to book your consultation, please be aware that everyone responds differently to treatments and treatment plans, and neither timelines nor results can be guaranteed. Everybody responds differently in their healing journey and whilst I endeavour to achieve the best results for you, predicting each individual’s response to treatment prior to commencement is not possible.

Achieving improved health and wellness using naturopathy may also vary depending on your commitment to following the advice given.

I am fully qualified and highly experienced naturopath, I am not a doctor or medical professional and I don’t diagnose diseases or advise any changes to prescription medications you may be taking.  You should always take care to consult with whichever health professionals you need to manage your health. If you are under the care of other health professionals it is important that you inform me and continue any current treatment plans. I am always happy to work collaboratively as part of your holistic health care team.  The information on this website is provided for education and within the scope of my expertise and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or medical treatment.

If you are unwell, have symptoms or concerns about your health or medical condition you should seek medical advice. Payment Terms

All prices on my website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST if applicable.

Invoice for consultation will be forwarded by email after the consultation.

Payment is due within 7 days of the date of invoice.

If you are experiencing difficulty with making payment please contact me.

Purchases of electronic or physical products requires payment at the time of purchase.

Purchase of online package or group products requires payment at time of purchase.

I do not currently offer online payments.  My preference is that you transfer funds to my bank account. I will provide you with the bank details on my invoices.

Payment plans may be offered for specific products.  It is your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient funds to make payment instalments on time.

If an invoice is more than 14 days overdue, you agree to pay all costs, including debt collection agency fees and solicitor’s costs, that I may incur in taking steps to recover any money that you owe to me, regardless of whether legal proceedings are issued in relation to the debt.

Refund Policy

I do not offer a refund if you change your mind, so you are encouraged to consider carefully whether a purchase is right for you before you make your payment.

I take My obligations under Australian Consumer Law seriously and will do my best to address any issues that arise. However, even if there is a major problem, my liability is strictly limited to:

replacing the goods or providing the services again; or

if I am unable to do so within a reasonable time, refunding the full amount that you have paid to me.

If you feel that there is any problem with my services/products, please let me know within 7 days so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.

Delivery [and Shipping]

If anything is unclear or confusing, I encourage you to reach out to me so I can provide clarification.

Appointment Policies

If you can’t make your appointment time - I would be grateful if you would provide 24 hours notice. Appointments can be cancelled 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled appointment time.  Cancellation with less than this notice will incur a fee of 10% of the consultation fee.

Respectful Communication

I reserve the right to moderate any comments made on this website, in the Facebook Groups I control, and on any of My social media pages and profiles, including deleting comments that I deem to be rude, offensive, spammy or unacceptable, without any notification or correspondence with you. Keep all communication kind and polite, please.

Disrespectful or aggressive behaviour towards me or anybody else will not be tolerated. 

Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

If a dispute arises, you agree that you will not engage in any public discussion about the issues, will behave politely towards me, and will avoid any conduct or communication which might reasonably be expected to interfere with my business or personal interests. You agree to act in good faith and be reasonably cooperative at all stages of the dispute resolution process.  I will treat you with the same consideration.

If you have any concerns, issues, or complaints arising out of your use of this website, My products or services, or these terms and conditions, you agree to communicate with me with faith through negotiation and discussion. Please email me at your email LouBodycomb@gmail.com and expect a response within 7 business days.

If the dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, you agree to proceed to mediation with the assistance of an independent accredited mediator, seeking mediation online or by telephone if anyone would need to travel for more than an hour to attend the mediation.

The mediator is to be appointed by agreement or failing agreement within 14 days of the negotiation period ending, I will provide you with contact details for at least 2 appropriately qualified, neutral mediators (having first confirmed their availability), and you must select one of them within 48 hours of receiving the nominations. All costs of mediation must be shared equally.

Legal action must not be commenced until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.

These Website Terms & Conditions are subject to the governing law of Victoria. Regardless of where you live in the world, you irrevocably agree that if the dispute resolution processes fail, the courts of Victoria, and the Commonwealth of Australia, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
